Responsibilities
As an Intermediate Interior Designer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing strong communication skills to effectively address challenges under tight deadlines.
- Designing and executing large-scale residential projects with an eye for detail.
- Crafting custom furniture and interior joinery.
- Managing all procurement activities related to FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) for projects.
- Maintaining meticulous budget spreadsheets to track project expenses.
- Adhering to project budgets and implementing value engineering solutions as needed.
- Sourcing high-end finish materials and leveraging established relationships with global vendors.
- Creating detailed drawings, including joinery drawings, elevations, and floor plans using AutoCAD.
- Exhibiting strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Engaging in travel to national job sites as required.
- Delivering excellent presentations and maintaining client interactions in both verbal and written formats.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- 4+ years of experience working in the luxury residential or hospitality sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, as well as familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Suite, and MS Office; knowledge of REVIT is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery of designs.
- A commitment to discretion and confidentiality in all client dealings.
