Exploring My Life in Paris, Saint-Tropez, and Milan

Experiencing life in Paris is a transformative journey, distinctly different from my routine existence in Milan. The allure of Paris feels like stepping into an enchanting world where the vibrancy and elegance captivate the senses.

My First Encounter with Paris

My initial visit to Paris remains etched in my memory. Coming from a quieter provincial life, I was overwhelmed yet exhilarated by the city’s unique ambiance. The graceful way people moved through the streets contrasted sharply with my shy demeanor. However, Paris quickly stole my heart with its joie de vivre and captivating charm, effortlessly merging eccentric elegance with sophistication.

In 2014, I made Paris my home by purchasing an apartment near the iconic Café de Flore. This space epitomizes classic French design, infused with a modern Armani sensibility, making it a distinctive blend of bourgeois charm and contemporary flair.

Enchanting Saint-Tropez

Nestled in the enchanting region of Provence, my house in Saint-Tropez is a sanctuary surrounded by lush greenery. The tranquil atmosphere, characterized by rolling hills and the shimmering sea, makes it feel like home. Here, I find deep relaxation, enhanced by the freedom of coastal living right at my doorstep.

Despite its expansive 700 square meters, the house maintains an intimate and warm ambiance. I was drawn to this property in 1996 partly because of the surrounding park populated with climbing jasmine, countless cypress trees, and a multitude of eucalyptus trees, creating a beautiful haven.

The Allure of Milan

Throughout my time in Milan, I’ve relocated many times, but it was only upon discovering the stately 17th-century residence on Via Borgonuovo that I realized I had found my perfect escape. Unlike a typical business headquarters, this house serves as a serene retreat for myself and close friends.

In collaboration with architect Peter Marino, we focused on enhancing the interior’s materiality. The home features a curated collection of 1930s and 1940s furniture, a reflection of my personal style, harmoniously combined with influences from various Oriental cultures. Graphic objects selected from my collection add an artistic touch, perfectly complementing the overall design.

Conclusion

Living in these three stunning locations—Paris, Saint-Tropez, and Milan—offers a unique blend of experiences that shape my lifestyle. Each locale brings its own beauty and vitality, enriching my life in ways that I deeply cherish.
